Noa Yekutieli: Memory, Home, and What Lies Between Them

Yekutieli does not use her personal , immediate memory , but rather the memories of other people who experienced irreversible , dramatic moments . She presents a series of natural disasters which took place in the past century ( collapsing houses , earthquake , landslide , tsunami , ֳ ood , drowning , tornadoes , etc . ) : sudden , powerful disasters which spread destruction and ruin in the environment and cannot be anticipated . She selects images of disasters from around the world , in different places and times .
